January 16, 2014 - With the exception of abortion coverage, military health care is generally considered quite good, at least on paper. I have heard rumors that it can be less than upfront about birth control methods (though it does cover them), and because of the disportionately large number of men in the military compared to women, women often have a difficult time finding staff experienced treating women rather than men. But as I said, at least on paper it looks good.
